Because I write for the series "Fight Card" we must retain a certain continuity across the novels. The guys write under the name "Jack Tunney," and so it was devised that I should write the romance for the group under the name of "Jill Tunney." The paperback version have my name on it. That's why there is some confusion.

You're very welcome, Molly. What a wonderful change of pace from the frantic contemporary books I read. It was like a breath of fresh air. Yet underneath there was the challenges that all children face, mostly of not being in control of their lives. Beautiful.

Zrinka Jelic penned a story that took me off guard. Women pirates? I can understand a pirate having a wench at his side, but this story took it up a notch.

Zrinka Jelic’s fanciful story had horrors and heartaches that motivated her well-drawn characters. It was exciting and emotional. Women on the run from an oppressive life and society banding together to form the crew of the Strega, a ship thought to be myth in this novel world. The Adriatic will never be the same.

I won’t issue any spoilers, but the ending was very satisfying. While it wouldn’t shock me if there was a sequel, my hope would be that there’s a heads-up to let me know when it happens. If you like fanciful, swashbuckling action with a romantic heart, Treasured Chest should fill the bill.
