Hi people - there are all sorts of rumours about Amazon taking umbrage with the term ARC in a review. Some have suggested a change to the wording such as: "complimentary copy" or "gifted copy" is more acceptable. Up to you!

I've heard that, too about the ARC term.

I never mention where I got the book. I don't really see why it's anybody's business.

I know we’re all deep into the review process, but I wanted to post a quick, friendly reminder that reviewers:

SHOULD NOT discuss their reviews with the author
SHOULD NOT provide direct feedback during the review process
SHOULD NOT allow an author to read a review before posting it

The only exception to the above occurs if you’re going to provide a book with UNDER three stars (that is a two star or one star review). In that case you SHOULD contact the Team Moderator (me) or Administrator (Shawn) first.

I know that these are all laid out in the forum rules, but from time to time it’s always good to have a quick reminder.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to post here, or to contact me.
