Hi Everyone in Team 7. I’m your Moderator/Team Captain/Call me what you like, but not late for the buffet!

I’m stealing most of this directly from David who is an excellent moderator and someone I want to emulate. But please bear in mind that I’m new to moderating this kind of group. I have experience, but not doing this specifically. Shawn agreed to not leave me completely alone, so your questions or concerns WILL be addressed, but you may need to be patient.

So, the procedure here is simple:

(1) Check the Team Review Chart;
(2) Contact the author. Ask for the story file in a suitable format and where they would like the review posted;
(3) When you receive the file, check that it opens properly then confirm receipt in the appropriate Round Report (i.e., Round 1 Reports; Round 2 Reports; etc., etc., etc.) by the Quick Reply. Please include name of author and title of story;
(4) Read the book and write your review using the forum guidelines as to format, stars etc.; and
(5) Post the review to the requested sites and report completion in the appropriate Round Report. Please include author, title of story and links to your review.

The only exception to this comes when you give the review LESS THAN three stars. That would mean TWO STARS or ONE STAR. As a courtesy, you should contact the author, tell them the star rating and confirm that they still want it posted.

Please do not discuss the details of your review beyond its rating, nor change it. Things could become personal at this point and we'd like to avoid that. Our aim is to provide honest, professional reviews, not enter into arguments.

There is nothing to stop you completing the reviews ahead of schedule, but take care in opening the door late at night if you fall behind. ;-) ;-)

If you have any questions about anything to do with this forum, contact me, either through the forum or by email to robroymccandless@gmail.com, and I'll do whatever is necessary to get you a sensible answer.

Good luck and have fun.

Please, do you know anything about Molly Dean?
She is my Round 3. I posted for round one and am already raeding round 2 though Julie says she can't continue.
I sent 2 emails to Molly but she never replies. I need her book and don't know how to get it.
Is she still in Team 7?
Thank you for your time!
Carmen

Carmen--I haven't got your emails. Don't understand the problem (possibly my computer or me!?) But please try mollydean@windstream.net. That always seems to work. Thanks, Molly

Carmen and Molly, has this problem been resolved? If not, then I can act as a go between, and send or receive emails on your behalf.

Just let me know.

Thanks!
