Introduction - Carol Malone

Hi, I'm Carol Malone and new to the review crew but I'm so excited to be a part of the group. Originally a contemporary romance writer, I took a big chance writing in an all-male genre of historical boxing pulp fiction and ePublished my first in this genre. The co-creator of the pulp boxing series, Fight Card, is a friend of mine and offered my husband the honor of writing for them. I was deeply offended since my husband is NOT a sports fan and I am. So I wrote my story in secret only bring it out when I was sure it would dazzle the tough-minded guys. Surprise, surprise. They were stunned.

I'm been asked by a nice girl like me would want to write in this genre in the first place and my answer is always the same. What guy wouldn't want a sweet little gal in his corner who supports his dream of becoming a contender and who doesn't whine about him getting hurt or beg him to quit the sport he loves? And what romance reader wouldn't love a story about a determined, strong-minded woman who finds her passion even while fighting a murder rap?

I come by this need to take on a challenge naturally as the little sister to four older brothers who were sports obsessed. I'm merged my fanatic love of all things sports and all things romantic to craft stories to satisfy fans of sports and lovers of passion. At the moment, I am busy working on my next manuscript to be published.

I am thrilled to be able to ePublish my book, but a little intimidated by the publicity and marketing aspects. So I look forward to reading your advice.
